Management Trainees: Whirlpool's management Trainee program is designed to ensure that you develop a natural ability to take the right decisions, cope with the pressures of corporate life and improve your leadership skills. This 12-month program familiarizes you with the various processes in whirlpool and the different projects given out during this period ensures that you learn the complexities of work. Programs are specific to your area of specialization.
Every MT goes through a structured MT programme comprising cross-functional & functional stints and projects. The emphasis is on ensuring that the MT has the view of the overall business & an in depth understanding of his/ her function. This ensures multi deployability of the individual into various roles and is the first step towards developing business general managers.
This programme is aimed at getting fresh students from premier B-Schools and providing them with structured inputs which prepare them to take the plunge into the corporate world.
Highlights:
Robust Orientation: this will be a program designed to give the trainees a working knowledge of the organization, its products and categories, brand, territories and schemes, consumer services, finance and people.
On the Job training: this will require the trainees to go through the various modules that will ensure that they have a clear understanding of the various roles and systems in their respective area of specialization
Graduate Engineer Trainees : GETs undergo a rigorous program consisting of corporate training in the factory and consumer services leaving young graduates ready to step into the corporate world well equipped to face the various challenges it presents. This program encourages and enables cross-functional, cross-location mobility.
Corporate Orientation: this program is designed to familiarize the trainees with the various departments. During the orientation program the trainees will be given project work in addition to regular assisgnments.
